Description
Regard as one of the most crucial mass spectrometric techniques, Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy (ICP-MS) has the capability to characterise multiple elements in sample, both metals and non-metals. It is a highly sensitive instrument for wide range of elements and able to detect concentrations at ppt level. This is achieved by ionizing the sample with inductively coupled plasma and then using a mass spectrometer to separate and quantify those ions. In analysis preparation, the samples are required to be completely digested or dissolved. Idea application are:
•Trace elements in bulk-analysis |
•Solid and Liquid samples |
•QA/QC as well as R&D purposes |
