Micro X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis (μXRF) is based on the same working principal as conventional XRF. Unlike the conventional XRF which generally analyses materials in a homogenous way, μXRF has a spatial resolution and much smaller diameter by limiting the aperture.  This analysis technique can achieve high-speed spectra acquisition with up to 50% higher element sensitivity.
